Corey Silverstein to Host 'Legal Impact' Panel at XBIZ Miami

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry attorney Corey D. Silverstein will host an in-person edition of his "Legal Impact" series, titled "Mastercard Revised Standards: What’s Happening IRL," on Wednesday, 11 a.m. (EDT), during XBIZ Miami.

The session, sponsored by Payze, will be moderated by Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals and feature panelists Lawrence G. Walters of Walters Law Group, MelRose Michaels, founder of SexWorkCEO, and Kristi Greer, sales director for SegPay.

“Now that Mastercard’s new rules have been in effect for some time, it’s time to have a discussion about how it has impacted the adult entertainment industry,” Silverstein said. “Fortunately the XBIZ Miami show has provided us the perfect venue to discuss this topic.

"Larry, MelRose and Kristi are all at the top of their respective areas of the industry and bringing them together for this discussion is an opportunity that cannot be missed,” Silverstein continued.

The session is open to all conference attendees.

"I’m excited to join this important panel and look forward to being back in person with everyone for XBIZ Miami,” Walters said.

Tibbals echoed Walters' sentiment.

“Having tough conversations about topics that deeply impact our entire community can be daunting, but getting to do that in-person and amongst our peers in someplace as fantastic as Miami makes it a little bit nicer," she said.

Silverstein will also lend his expertise to a second panel discussion, “Legal 2022: A Midyear Report,” Wednesday at 2 p.m. (PDT).

The "Legal Impact" event will subsequently be posted to Silverstein's MyAdultAttorney.com and Adult.law as well as XBIZ.tv.
