Jewelz Blu, Savannah Solo to Host 2022 XBIZ Cam Awards

MIAMI — Fire up those red-hot lightsabers and grab those Pokéballs, because creative all-stars Jewelz Blu and Savannah Solo have been named co-hosts of the 2022 XBIZ Cam Awards, adult creators’ biggest night, set for May 18 in Miami.

Rocking that signature deep blue hair and flashing her sapphire gaze in the regalia of anime characters encompassing Rei Ayanami of “Neon Genesis Evangelion,” Yumeko of “Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler” and “Ergo Proxy” gunslinger Re-L Mayer to name a few, Blu has shot over 250 scenes, spanning marquee studios such as Brazzers, Adult Time, Bang, Evil Angel and WankzVR.

“I am thrilled and honored to co-host the XBIZ Cam Awards this year,” Blu enthused. “I have so much love for this industry and all of the creative talent under the bright XBIZ spotlight. Anticipation for this year’s event is sky-high and I just can’t wait to reunite with everyone in celebration of our collective success.”

And breakout sensation Solo skyrocketed to mega indie fame in 2020 through the hilarity of her comedic clips, fanaticism for “Star Wars” and bona fide love for anime, winning "Best Premium Social Media Star" at the 2021 XBIZ Cam Awards. Her self-effacing humor, next-level cosplaying and charming authenticity have earned her the adoration of the creator community, not to mention legions of fans, for whom she has brought everything from Jedi badass Rey to Metroid femme fatale Samus to life.

“I'm super excited to be given the opportunity to co-host this year’s XBIZ Cam Awards,” Solo enthused. “Not to mention, I get to bask in Jewelz Blu’s presence all night long. There’s a real possibility that Jewelz will end up doing all the heavy lifting hosting this show while I am completely occupied staring at them with my mouth open like a gay little fish. I can’t believe I’m getting to do this.”

Having each graced the cover of XBIZ magazine's Creator World, Solo and Blu, each of whom have more than half a million followers on social media, will now share their love for all things geeky on the grand stage at the XBIZ Cam Awards, where anything is possible. Will they bring a famous cinematic duel to life? Will they trade barbs as two characters from the same manga series? We shall find out in a spectacle that is sure to give neon-lit South Beach a run for its money.

Voting is now underway for the nominees. For event information, visit XBIZMiami.com and CamAwards.XBIZ.com.
