ASACP Announces Epoch, AWEmpire, AdultWebmasterNet as January Featured Sponsors

LOS ANGELES — ASACP has announced Epoch, AWEmpire and AdultWebmasterNet as its first Featured Sponsors for 2022.

A rep explained ASACP’s Featured Sponsors rank among the industry’s most respected companies and serve as examples of how corporate responsibility, ethical operation and basic proactive measures all help to protect minors and other online viewers from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials.

“As the association enters its 26th year, we rely on the relationships we’ve built in the past to help us move forward into the future,” Executive Director Tim Henning said. “By supporting ASACP and its initiatives, our family of sponsors enables us to raise awareness and to provide solutions across the growing range of digital media platforms and the emerging virtual worlds and mobile arenas that provide new technical challenges.”

“It is only through expanding and nurturing our partnerships and programs that the association can continue to improve the safety of children’s daily digital lives as the challenges and opportunities of new platforms unfolds,” Henning added. “Now is the time for established industry players and novel newcomers alike to follow the leaders and get onboard with ASACP and the incredible work that it does.”

All of ASACP’s tools and services are provided free-of-charge due to sponsor support.

“ASACP relies on the generous guidance and support from sponsors, such as Epoch, AWEmpire and AdultWebmasterNet to enable its enviable record of success,” a rep said. “These successes include the release of free child protection resources such as market-specific Best Practices along with a comprehensive Code of Ethics for businesses, app publishers and all operators of age-restricted websites.”

These are the ASACP descriptions of its Featured Sponsors for January:

Epoch

A founding Platinum Sponsor that has supported ASACP for more than 20 years, Epoch.com is a payment facilitator that enables merchants to process transactions online and through mobile devices. Epoch has earned a reputation for legitimacy and oversight of client web properties by accepting global payments for digital products and services.

Epoch takes an active, two-pronged approach to child protection by ensuring that only legal websites depicting adult performers use its services. Secondly, it selflessly provides dedicated service to the association’s Advisory Committee, which helps set responsible standards and practices for adult entertainment and other companies. Epoch also provides boardroom facilities for ASACP meetings and other tangible assets.

“Epoch has been one of the biggest supporters of ASACP since its inception,” a company spokesperson said. “We are proud to be a part of an organization that keeps minors and our industry safe from outside predators.”

Epoch’s responsible corporate philosophy puts the protection of minors at the highest of priorities, exemplifying the type of industry-leading company that makes up ASACP’s most valued sponsors.

“Epoch will continue to support the association and give it everything necessary to make sure that minors are safe online and that our industry is both caring and safe,” the spokesperson added. “Keep up the great work, ASACP."

AWEmpire

A Platinum Sponsor supporting ASACP since 2008, JWS America, known for its LiveJasmin brand, unites millions of users from around the globe via its famous live cam and chat platforms. Because of the unique nature of live cam services, the company takes its responsibilities very seriously by preventing minors from accessing its sites while ensuring its cam models are of legal age.

This process starts with the proactive use of an overlaid warning page that alerts visitors that age-restricted content is ahead. Next, the company adds any legally required age verification solutions in coordination with relevant authorities.

To ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for performers, individuals who register as live cam models on LiveJasmin.com or associated sites are subject to a rigorous screening process. The company also implements extensive measures to constantly monitor its live content as an additional proactive step for protecting minors.

According to AWEmpire.com CEO and co-founder Karoly Papp, the company needs to be associated with ASACP and support its team’s mission of protecting minors.

“As a trusted and key player in the webcam industry, one of our priorities is to abide by sound corporate governance, and notably to keep minors out of adult-oriented materials,” Papp explained. “We have supported this association since 2008, and we intend to keep doing so.”

AdultWebmasterNet

An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2012, AdultWebmasterNet.com is a traffic services firm that sells adult website traffic, putting it in a position to work with many sites — and it does so with a distinct sense of corporate responsibility.

For example, the company reviews all traffic requests to ensure they meet a set of minimum standards, such as the lack of underage depictions or even any allusion to this material. AdultWebmasterNet also publishes its own set of Best Practices, which include encouraging clients to become sponsors of ASACP and adopt the RTA labeling protocol — actions that spread the word about the need to protect children online and in mobile apps.

Although it is based overseas, AdultWebmasterNet voluntarily complies with various U.S. federal laws, such as 18 U.S.C. §2257, which mandates performer age verification, illustrating the “going above and beyond” mindset of ASACP’s top sponsors and supporters.

“ASACP remains grateful to Epoch, AWEmpire, and AdultWebmasterNet, for these companies’ continued commitment, generosity and leadership in supporting the association and its mission to protect minors in the digital realm,” Henning said.

“ASACP’s family of sponsors are united in pursuing this goal and represent the best the industry has to offer," he added. "We encourage other brands to step up and join us today to help us build a better future for us all."
