Vendo to Host New Quarterly Merchant Conference

LUCERNE, Switzerland — Vendo will host its next quarterly merchant conference on Wednesday, September 8, from 9-10:30 a.m. (PDT), to provide fresh business insights and data, new tech tools and networking opportunities.

"Beginning with a short overview of the latest e-commerce market data, attendees will be able to see how their performance compares with other merchants. This will be followed by a discussion on how merchants can participate and learn from Vendo’s approach to innovation and product discovery," explained a rep. "Finally, the new Mastercard regulations will take center stage."

The conference is designed to "create opportunities for merchants to connect with old acquaintances and forge new business relationships," added the rep.

"I could not be more pleased with the opportunity to bring our merchants together during the pandemic and help them make progress with their business. Based on the number of attendees this will be our largest conference yet,” Vendo COO Thierry Arrondo said.

Jesse Garza, CEO of 1984 Agency, described the Vendo conferences and meetups, "whether digital or in-person," as providing "a really useful and unique forum to discuss the state of our industry."

"Whether it’s industry-wide or a focused event such as their LGBTQ meetup, I always leave with more to consider and new revenue-generating opportunities," Garza added. "Vendo cares about moving the industry forward and developing tools based on our collective needs from paysites, to cams, to dating and beyond."

Vendo CEO Mitch Platt said the company's purpose is to "make payments simple by inspiring growth and passion."

"Our merchant conferences are the perfect venue to share global market trends, discuss latest innovations, learn how to grow your business and participate in unparalleled networking opportunities," he said.
