Swiss Navy Shares Wellness Tips for 'Men's Health Week'

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — M.D. Science Lab and the Swiss Navy brand are marking 2021 International Men’s Health Week (IMHW) by sharing wellness tips from their resident intimate health advisor, Dr. Sunny Rodgers.

IMHW was founded in 1994 and is held annually in the week leading up to Father's Day with the goal of increasing awareness of male health issues.

"We’re so appreciative to have Sunny as part of our team and value her help and insight into sexual health matters,” M.D. Science VP of Sales and Marketing Briana Watkins said. “Sunny always brings another level of expertise to our trainings and offerings for retailers and consumers, and helps people look at our Swiss Navy products in a different light.”

Swiss Navy encourages people to use IMHW as an opportunity to "make your own positive difference in the lives of men," noted a rep.

“Studies have shown that masturbating may protect people with penises against prostate cancer, according to The Cancer Council Victoria in Melbourne,” a rep said. “And, according to the Boston University School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School studies, men who ejaculate 21 times or more during a one-month period were less likely to develop prostate cancer.”

An additional tip emphasizes regular medical checkups, especially if one has diabetes and heart ailments, which can restrict blood flow to veins and arteries and potentially result in erectile issues.

In addition, "fitness can go a long way in supporting heart health," said the rep. Research has shown men burn an average of four calories per minute during sex, "which may be a more fun option for cardio sessions."

"In the spirit of IMHW, consider wearing blue to show your support," the rep concluded. "Or gift the man in your life Swiss Navy Premium Masturbation Cream in support of their health."
