Sportsheets, Lovers Partner for Monthlong Woodhull Benefit

LOS ANGELES — For the month of March, Lovers is donating $1 from each sale of any Sex & Mischief product to the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, with Sportsheets matching the contribution.

“Without the social contributions of organizations like the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, our industry would exist under radically different constraints and prohibitions, if at all,” Sportsheets Creative and Brand Director Chaney Cox said. “We’re grateful to Lovers for inviting us to match their donations and support this important work.”

Through education and public advocacy focused on intersectional issues including comprehensive sex education, economic inequality, marginalized identities, enthusiastic consent, and reproductive choice, the Woodhull Freedom Foundation works in partnership with allies nationwide to combat sexual oppression.

“As two pleasure-oriented businesses founded, owned and operated by empowered women, Lovers and Sportsheets are the perfect backers for this fundraising campaign,” Cox added. “Sportsheets has always placed special emphasis on women’s desires and free sexual expression, so we find it especially meaningful that fans of our Sex & Mischief line of light BDSM products can support this cause for the duration of Women’s History Month. We are proud to join in the Foundation’s initiatives toward a more inclusive culture.”
