LONG ISLAND, NY — Ivan, the CEO of AltErotic, has co-directed "Roadside Killer," a non-adult horror short that recently premiered on Troma Films' branded streaming service.
For nearly 50 years, Troma has famously produced schlock-gore horror titles like “Toxic Avenger” and “Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D."
“What a way to start off my birthday month — and 2021. I grew up on ‘Toxic Avenger’ movies, which made me who I am today. I am a fucking weirdo who loves super-unique and surreal filmmaking. This is a perfect opportunity for our serial killer Stanley to meet the ultimate hero — 'Toxie,'" Ivan enthused.
"Roadside Killer" follows a disgruntled roadside worker, Stanley Simmons, who constantly wears an adult diaper for his bladder issues and a gas mask because his urine stench is unbearable.
"I can’t believe, after all these years, and all this hard work on our projects, Stanley and the crew finally made it to 'Tromaville!' We are super-excited and honored to have our horror-schlock [land] with the kings of the genre,” said co-director John Gonzales.
The short film can be found on Troma’s streaming service here; details about a 30-day free trial are available here.
