LOS ANGELES — Pornhub has signed on as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2021 Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs) and will stream the virtual ceremony on March 7 on its platform.
Nominees have also been announced for the "Pornhub Model of the Year." Last year's recipents were Trip Richards and Daisy Taylor in a tie.
"Having been a proud sponsor of the TEAs these last few years, we are very honored to have become their main sponsor this year,” noted a Pornhub rep. "We are thrilled to be a part of this event and celebrate the trans performers of our community by hosting the TEAs live on Pornhub."
TEAs Executive Producer Kristel Penn welcomed the sponsorship.
"Their platform is accessed by millions and will definitely broaden our show’s visibility to a greater audience," Penn said. "That has always been the overall goal of the TEAs — we want as many people as possible to be able to see positive, diverse representations of trans people and their experiences, which includes trans folks working in the adult industry."
"The more people who are able to celebrate this special occasion with us, the better," added Penn.

The 2020 TEAs were the first industry awards show to pivot to an online presentation in the wake of the pandemic lockdowns. Nominees for this year's awards have been announced and online fan voting is currently underway.
Domino Presley has been named "Mistress of Ceremonies" for the 2021 TEAs, reprising her role, including last year's virtual ceremony, for the third time.
