Julian Grey Talks Doing Drag, Porn With Andrew Christian Blog

LOS ANGELES — Performer Julian Grey was recently profiled by Alexander Rodriguez for the official Andrew Christian (AC) blog about balancing his adult career with "Camilla Grande," his drag persona.

Grey joins a number of gay adult stars — including Levi Karter, Steven Lee, Liam Riley and Dakota Payne, among others — who have come out of the closet as drag performers.

"Julian started in the industry as a go-go dancer, often appearing in his Andrew Christians and hanging out with the AC models when they make their appearances at the clubs Julian performs at," noted Rodriguez. "His smile is as attractive as his round booty and now he can mix his sensuality, sexuality and artistic background into his drag persona. At the risk of losing his porn fan base, Camilla is here to stay —and slay."

Grey recalled working as a go-go dancer in Phoenix when he was approached by a talent scout about an adult career and decided to take the leap. But he first stepped onstage in drag in 2010.

"I fell in love with it. I stopped for a long time because the support wasn’t there and I was made fun of a lot," he revealed. "I was told to stick to my lane  — which sucks to not have that support from my community — but since the pandemic, it gave me the time to really think about what I want for myself and it was time to give it a shot again."

He admits to concern about alienating some of his fans who prefer his persona as a skin star.

"Absolutely! That was definitely one of my concerns, but I’m an entertainer and I just don’t care what people think anymore," he asseted. "It’s time to do me. If they don’t like it, somebody else will."
