'Sex Tech Connect' to Host Virtual Holiday Party on Sunday

LOS ANGELES — Sex Tech Connect has set a "Holiday Hats" virtual party for Sunday at 9 a.m. (PST). The networking group is aimed at the sextech and adult retail industries, and professionals involved with sexuality research, journalism and the arts.

"All members from the various verticals of adult industry are welcome to join together on a virtual platform to shake off the challenges of 2020 with a drink of their choice and fun conversation with others," a rep enthused.

"We'll celebrate our accomplishments from this year, and cheer to the New Year," continued the rep. As the theme will be "Holiday Hats," attendees are invited to wear "some fun headwear to show off for the camera. Everyone who wears a hat will be entered into a contest for best hat. People can cast their secret vote during the event for the winner. At 10 a.m. (PST), we will announce the first-ever Sex Tech Connect ‘holiday hat champion’ who will receive a $25 Visa gift card donated by Stript Erotic Designs."

The sexual wellness industry "expanded tremendously" in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdowns, noted the rep. Sex Tech Connect was formed in the wake of the lockdowns as a way to keep industry members connected and networking.

"During the party, we’ll celebrate the success of the community and the achievements of each person in it," added the rep.

Adult industry attorney Maxine Lynn is a co-founder of Sex Tech Connect.

”We are so excited to host this informal and fun event,” she said. “It should make for a wonderful opportunity for people to meet, laugh and form bonds that can carry over from the virtual world to the real world that hopefully is around the corner."
