LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures is offering congratulations to its 2021 XBIZ Awards nominees. The recognition "speaks to the rich and diverse nature of its brand," a rep said.
Wicked's "traditional couples' product was recognized... alongside such innovative new ventures as Wicked Girl Jessica Drake's ongoing docu-sodic project 'Jessica's FANtasies' and veteran contract director Brad Armstrong's 'Porn: The Series,' the company's first limited dramatic series," noted the rep.
"European powerhouse Dorcel, whose stylish productions have been distributed by Wicked in the United States for over two decades, received several major nominations, including two for 'Erotic-Themed Movie of the Year,'" the rep continued. "And in recognition of the Wicked brand’s continuing success in the pleasure products space, Wicked Sensual Care was nominated for 'Sex Lubricant Company of the Year' and received a 'Sex Lubricant of the Year' nomination for Simply Aqua."
"Industry stalwart" Mike Quasar's titles earned a pair of nods, including a "Best Erotic-Themed Sex Scene" citation for "Swipe Right" and a "Best All-Girl Sex Scene" honor for "Crushing on My Bestie."
Dorcel's "40 Years Old, Comes to Life" and "Climax" each received "Erotic-Themed Movie of the Year" nods, with the latter also cited for "Best Cinematography" and "Best Erotic-Themed Sex Scene."
The Euro-powerhouse earned a number of additional nominations, including VOD Site of the Year and International Retailer of the Year.
"Given its track record in elegance and innovation, it came as no surprise that XBIZ should honor the relaunched Wicked.com with Erotic Site of the Year," the rep added.
Wicked President and Owner Steve Orenstein praised his team for their efforts.
