Kenzie Taylor to Embody 'Harley Quinn' in Axel Braun's 'The Batman XXX'

LOS ANGELES — Kenzie Taylor has been tapped to play fan-favorite antihero Harley Quinn in “The Batman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody Series" for Wicked Pictures.

Taylor is no stranger to the "DC AxelVerse," having played the title role in Braun's acclaimed “Captain Marvel XXX," the 2020 XBIZ winner for Best Art Direction and Best Special Effects.

“Kenzie sent me a two-minute audio recording of her talking with Harley’s accent, and I actually thought it was a clip from the animated series,” recalled Braun. “I was literally blown away, and I cast her on the spot. Of course, it wasn’t a difficult choice; she was phenomenal in 'Captain Marvel XXX,' and she is the most talented, dedicated and professional actress I have ever worked with. The fact that she is also drop-dead gorgeous, funny and sexy as hell is only the icing on the cake.”

“Kenzie is gonna absolutely rock this role,” Braun exclaimed. "Her comedic timing is incredible, and the costumes we are making for her are beyond awesome. I can’t wait to start shooting."

A rep described Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn, as "one of the most celebrated antiheroes" in the DC Comics unverse. The character was previously embodied in the "DC AxelVerse" by Kleio Valentien for Braun's "Batman v. Superman XXX" and "Suicide Squad XXX."

“I am super-honored and thrilled that Axel has chosen me for the role of Harley Quinn,” said Taylor. "It comes with some pretty big shoes to fill. Kleio was amazing, so I know I have my work cut out for me to really honor her and make Axel proud. I’ve always been a huge fan of the character, and I will continue to study her accent and mannerisms so I can perfect them to the best of my ability."

"I hope the fans are as excited as I am, because it’s gonna be a fun, exciting, wild ride," she continued. "Harley is a very complex character and I am definitely looking forward to this challenge and to putting my own spin on it."

"The Batman XXX: An Axel Braun Parody Series" will debut later in 2021 exclusively on Wicked.com

In related news, Evelyn Claire was recently cast in the series as "The Huntress," with Seth Gamble winning the title role as the Dark Knight.
