Voodoo Toys Takes Home 2020 StorErotica Awards Trophy

LOS ANGELES — Voodoo Toys is celebrating its 2020 StorErotica Awards win for Marketing Campaign of the Year.

A company rep noted that Voodoo Brand Manager Sally Cotching, in response to the global lockdown due to COVID-19, developed a campaign to "support their loyal stores who carry Voodoo’s pleasure products as they entered uncertain territory."

"Working with the team," continued the rep, "they created the 'Stay Home, Get Off' campaign showing a diverse group of women at home, cooking breakfast, listening to music [and] lounging in bed with Voodoo’s products, encouraging consumers to enjoy the safest form of sex during a pandemic — solo sex."

"With COVID-19 cases increasing in recent weeks across the country, Voodoo will be relaunching the campaign with more assets to supply to retailers in order to encourage consumers to stock up on their favorite pleasure products for the coming months," the rep added.

Cotching recalls speaking to retailers who were unsure about how to proceed due to closures or limited capabilities.

"We designed the 'Stay Home, Get Off' campaign, with images of our models enjoying our products in a home setting, for retailers to post across their social channels and website, to encourage their customers to purchase online and still enjoy the pleasure products they love by ordering online without having to leave their housem," she said. "Our retailers responded with enthusiasm, sharing the images across social channels and online. It was thrilling to see the community come together to support the message."
