Pornhub Launches New Monthly 'Viewer's Choice' Contest

LOS ANGELES — Pornhub is trumpeting the launch of Viewer's Choice, a monthly themed contest whose winners will be solely determined by fan voting with a top prize of $3,000, among other treats.

The second- and third-place winners will receive $2,000 and $1,000, respectively. In celebration of the first month of the Viewer's Choice contest, the top 100 participating models will receive $100 and the top 50 contest videos will be featured on Pornhub's main page.

"It's now up to our Pornhub users to vote on their favorite videos," a rep explained. "Everyone makes money, not just the top winners. Fans can buy votes and those count as video sales, therefore [models] earn money on votes."

"By participating in the contests, models will have the chance to win one of three big prizes, get featured on the contest page and earn money by selling votes to users," the rep continued.

"Unlike our previous contests, the monthly winners will now be chosen by our users by allowing them to vote for their favorite video," noted the rep. "Since each user gets one free vote every 24 hours per model, models can sell votes to their fans to help them win and make some extra dollars in the process. For each voting tier, [models] can offer incentives like discount coupons to increase [their] chances of winning the contest. A small discount goes a long way and increases the likelihood of a future sale to that fan."
