Hump! Amateur Erotic Film Fest to Screen 'Greatest Hits'

LOS ANGELES — Organizers of the Hump! Amateur Erotic Film Festival, co-founded by sexpert Dan Savage, have set five virtual screening dates for "Hump! Greatest Hits, Volume 1," a curated collection of its most popular short subjects.

The most recent edition of the regular Hump! festival, held as an online event, concluded this past weekend. The celebration of amateur erotica was forced to cancel its planned spring tour due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"Do you find yourself thinking about Hump! festivals from the past, remembering some of your favorites? Just watched your first Hump! and wonder what past festivals look like? Great news! After getting permission from filmmakers to bring their films online, we’re bringing you several volumes of our — and audience — favorites from 2005 to 2018," a rep explained.

Organizers will donate $1 from every ticket sold to the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

The virtual screening dates are Saturday, June 20, at 6 p.m. (PDT); Friday, June 26, at 8 p.m. (Central European time) and 7 p.m. (PDT); Thursday, July 2, at 8 p.m. (PDT); and Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. (PDT).

All screenings include the same lineup of films.

"Hump! has been bringing audiences a new kind of porn since 2005," said the rep. "The festival features short dirty movies — each less than five minutes — all created by people who aren’t porn stars but want to be one for a weekend. The filmmakers and stars show us what they think is hot and sexy, creative and kinky, their ultimate turn-ons and their craziest fantasies. Our carefully curated program is a cornucopia of body types, shapes, ages, colors, sexualities, genders, kinks and fetishes — all united by a shared spirit of sex-positivity. Hump! is a celebration of creative sexual expression. You will see films that shock you. You will see films at that make you laugh. And you will see films that turn you on. You will also be touched by the sincerity and vulnerability with which these films are lovingly made. [Our] main mission is to change the way America sees — and makes and shares — porn."
