Fun Factory USA Releases Coloring Book, Offers Prizes for Creative Designs

LOS ANGELES — Fun Factory USA, the U.S. subsidiary of the German heritage brand, is releasing a series of free “FUNsexual Activity Books,” starting with issue No. 1, a coloring book that’s currently available for download.

Additionally, the brand is offering a free toy for the most creative coloring job via a contest on its Instagram, with submissions open through April 10.

Featuring original illustrations by Parisa Parnian of L.A.’s Savage Muse design brand, “FUNsexual Activity Book #1” depicts a series of people using their Fun Factory toys at home, both solo and with a partner.

“This is both a strange and necessary time to be talking about sexuality,” commented Kristen Tribby, Fun Factory’s director of marketing and education. “COVID-19 precautions are forcing people to re-navigate their relationships with their bodies, as well as with partners they may be either separated from or constantly at home with. Our job is to find ways to help them find lighthearted, low-stakes ways to engage with pleasure and fun.”

To be entered to win a toy of their choice, customers can download the free coloring book, fill in a page as creatively as possible — “fabulous interior design, thought bubbles, artistic shading, you name it,” the company says — and submit it via Instagram DM. Swag bag prizes are available for liking the post and tagging friends. Further contest details and entry can be found at Instagram.com/FunFactoryUSA (@FunFactoryUSA).

“FUNsexual Activity Book #1” is available here for free download.
