LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its return to Hollywood for the 2020 XBIZ Show.
The XBIZ Show takes place January 13-17 at the Andaz Hotel and is crowned by the 18th annual XBIZ Awards honoring industry excellence. The XBIZ Show features the all-new “Voices of Adult” sessions, market-focused seminars that offer critical insights into top trends and emerging business opportunities, guest keynotes by the industry’s most influential insiders, relationship-building networking activities and parties on the world-famous Sunset Strip.
ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning will attend the event.
“ASACP has attended the XBIZ Show since its inception,” Henning said. “This popular event attracts an elite audience of stakeholders allowing ASACP to reach numerous decision makers who can make a real difference in protecting children online.”
“The XBIZ Show covers all segments of the adult industry, providing a broad range of opportunities for spreading our message,” Henning explained. “It is a great way for ASACP to begin its yearly fundraising and sponsorship drives, and to engage different audiences than we might at other events.”
Henning will attend the XBIZ Honors ceremony on Tuesday, January 14 where he has been nominated as Community Figure of the Year; and will also host a special session on “Age Verification: An Unstoppable Global Trend,” Thursday, January 16, from 12-12:50 p.m. in Studio 2.
In addition, ASACP will have an exhibit at XBIZ 2020’s popular Mix & Meet Market, where attendees and exhibitors connect over an array of advanced products, services and solutions. There, Henning hopes to meet with current and prospective sponsors to discuss how modern media and other companies and service providers can do their part to further online child protection — and why it is so important to support the association today.
ASACP will also have an ad in the official show guide; flyers in the show gift bags; and complimentary admission courtesy of XBIZ and its sponsors, providing prominent exposure for the association at this elite gathering of adult industry professionals.
“XBIZ’s support of the association helps ASACP carry out its mission to protect children online,” Henning explained. “This support combined with that of our sponsors enables our various initiatives, including the development of the Restricted To Adults website meta label and international TipLine, proving the adult industry is truly a responsible partner in keeping children out of and away from age-inappropriate material.”
Finally, ASACP will hold both its Advisory Council and Executive Board meetings Wednesday, January 15 at 10 a.m.
“The 2020 XBIZ Show is the ideal venue for meeting with the industry stakeholders that help guide our efforts,” Henning concluded. “This comprehensive meeting of the minds will set the association on the best path forward as we grasp with the evolving nature of online child protection into the second decade of this new century.”
