Presented by ManyVids.com, the annual trade show takes over West Hollywood’s Andaz hotel from January 13-17 for action-packed days and exciting nights brimming with unique business and networking opportunities, culminating in grand style Thursday, January 16, with the eagerly anticipated 2020 XBIZ Awards.

For 2020, the XBIZ Show builds upon the successes of its past offerings while adding a refreshed selection of new sessions targeting the industry’s most pressing topics, offering the answers and opportunities that all attendees of XBIZ events can benefit from.

Opening day, Monday, January 13, kicks off with the annual XBIZ Golf Tournament hosted by X2K Consulting and NETbilling, providing a relaxing afternoon of golf and executive networking, with participants mixing, mingling and competing in this annual event at the Angeles National Golf Course.

Another opening-day special is the Playboy mixer. This fun-filled networking social is open to all attendees and will bring industry influencers and newcomers together for networking, business and fun.

Rounding out the opening day is a “ladies only” welcoming event by Women In Adult, where seasoned and newcomer businesswomen will meet up for cocktails and connection-making. Meanwhile, the milestone 20th annual Cybersocket Web Awards will honor the best gay performers and LGBT websites with a red-carpet event and shuttle service provided between the Andaz Hotel and PH West Hollywood nightclub.

The 2020 XBIZ Show shifts into high gear Tuesday, January 14, with the return of its popular Speed Networking session, which offers a fast-paced matchmaking and relationship-building environment that establishes new contacts and opens the door to new opportunities. With only one representative allowed per company, this session maximizes value for all participants.

For those craving a Bloody Mary to kick-start the day, or a refreshment while working the room, the noontime and midafternoon “Power Hour” Happy Hours, sponsored by Chaturbate, will help attendees get a head start on the event’s opportunities by linking up at these networking socials. They are also the perfect occasion to premiere the all-new XBIZ Sunset Lounge located in the hotel lobby, also sponsored by Chaturbate, which offers the ultimate setting for uninterrupted business while mingling with colleagues and friends against a backdrop of the famed Sunset Strip at this reimagined meeting place and easy-access social hub for XBIZ 2020.

XBIZ’s renowned seminar series then begins with a look toward the future of camming, with inside tips from industry pros; and later, a session on top trends shaping 2020’s clips market will provide performers with a one-two punch of information and insights that can help boost their content creation and marketing efforts.

Among the top highlights of the 2020 XBIZ Show is the new “Voices of Adult” program, which presents sessions by industry thought leaders that move away from the traditional panelist/audience format, to allow for more attendee interaction and in-depth exploration of key market factors by folks on the front lines.

This potent package of presentations includes “Content Monetization the Right Way” by NMG; “Social Media Marketing: 2020’s Trends, Do’s and Don’ts” by Alex Lecomte of 7Veils; “The Value of Brand Partnerships” by Holly Ruprecht of Playboy Plus; “Turn Up the Base! How to Maximize Profits from Existing Customers” with Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley; and “Bricks to Clicks: What Retail’s Next Evolution Means for Your Business” by GLI.services.

Need more? Join Anna Lee for a look at “Virtual Vibrancy: Elevating VR Content Through Intimacy and Immersion” and Cybersocket for a look at “The State of the Gay Adult Industry” or Pineapple Support for a peer-led discussion of self-parenting and “Self-Care With Intention” for performers with Leya Tanit and therapists Kate Stewart and Nicoletta Heidegger. A special Fetish Watch session will take “An Inside Look at Alt Content,” while noted industry attorneys Larry Walters and Corey Silverstein will issue a 2020 legal alert on “Staying Safe from the Sex Trafficking Crackdown” in the wake of FOSTA-SESTA and increased public scrutiny of the industry as a result of anti-porn group lobbies that conflate porn with sex trafficking.

Why stop there? Mindbrowse returns for its fifth season, with a look at “Presenting Sex: Diversification, Inclusivity and Content Production in 2020,” by Sssh.com’s Angie Rowntree and Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals; while a pair of exclusive Q&A screenings will feature “Higher Power” director and star, Kayden Kross and Maitland Ward, revealing the tips and tricks of sexual dialogue; and Gamma’s Bree Mills discussing the making of “Teenage Lesbian” with key cast members, revealing how the title echoes her own teenage years coming to terms with her sexuality in the last decade before gay and lesbian rights became commonplace.

Next, IsMyGirl.com presents “The Future of Fan Platforms & Premium Social Media,” with founder Evan Seinfeld and panelists from other social platforms highlighting the tools and techniques needed for personal brand development.

Tuesday’s action-packed schedule doesn’t end at the close of business hours, however, with the debut of the online industry edition of the XBIZ Honors program — the breakthrough successor to the perennially popular XBIZ Exec Awards, bolstered with trophies for select categories from the flagship XBIZ Awards.

Capping the evening’s excitement is the return of the raucous “Rooftop Rage” party presented by MojoHost and Silverstein Legal, where attendees should dress to impress at this high-energy penthouse suite party.

On Wednesday, January 15, the opportunities roll on at XBIZ’s exclusive Sunset Lounge networking hub, with another Kick-Off Happy Hour to set the day in motion and another midafternoon “Power Hour” Happy Hour to keep it rolling through the day.

The seminar series continues with a trio of panels pursuing the “Vantage Point: From the Director’s Chair,” “Social Media Strategies: 2020’s Top Tips” and “Expanding Revenue Streams: Maximizing Your Cash Flow,” incorporating the viewpoints of some of today’s top experts.

XBIZ’s groundbreaking “Voices of Adult” sessions return with “Paysite Pros: Seasoned Players Explore Ancillary Revenue Streams” featuring Kenny B. of YourPaySitePartner, while Twistbox tackles “Mobile Monetization in Today’s Market” and Steven Grooby and Kristel Penn lead a roundtable discussion for transgender performers titled “Stop Giving Away So Much for Free!”

Holly Randall will conduct a live broadcast of her “Unfiltered” podcast along with Joanna Angel and Lena Paul as they explore the career path of performers who also direct; directors from Kink.com will explore how “Yes Means Yes: Making Porn in the #MeToo Era”; and DigiRegs will reveal how to switch “Piracy to Profits: Turning Content Theft Into Publisher Revenue.”

Also on Wednesday, Lance Hart will host a two-hour course in “Effective Self-Defense Techniques for Talent,” where certified Citizens Defense Research instructors will demonstrate self-defense techniques; and Missa X will present Whitney Wright’s directorial debut for its AllHerLuv imprint, “Endless,” in a Q&A screening.

Add in 2020’s “State of the Industry” panel as it turns its gaze out at the horizon of a new decade, followed by the popular Mix & Meet Market Happy Hour event that unites attendees and exhibitors to learn about the latest products and services and you have another full day of deal-making and business building capped by a special nighttime event.

Capping Wednesday’s schedule is an XBIZ Show tradition, the sexy Winter Wonderland Party, an exclusive pajama- and lingerie-clad soiree at the Andaz Hotel’s rooftop. Featuring stunning views of the L.A. skyline, the year’s top XBIZ Award-nominated performers will once again frolick with the adult entertainment community at this pre-awards bash which is dedicated to recognizing their success, with attendees encouraged to dress in their finest sleepwear and sexiest lingerie.

Thursday, January 17, begins with XBIZ’s annual look at the legal landscape, offering a 2020 preview of what to expect, from age verification efforts around the globe to AB5’s impact in California and beyond, before segueing into a trio of sessions as part of the Free Speech Coalition’s annual Leadership Conference.

The FSC sessions include a keynote by Big Answers CEO Brickson Diamond on how “Diversity is Good for Business,” discussing the positive gains of increasing diversity on both sides of the camera, along with a look at “AB5 in California: Is Everyone an Employee Now?” clarifying who can be classified as a contractor, and its impact on payments, taxes, insurance and other aspects of business. Closing out the FSC’s trilogy is a session on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), “Does It Impact Your Business? Spoiler Alert: Yes!” featuring an online privacy expert who will provide guidance to businesses on how to best comply.

Wrapping up the 2020 edition of XBIZ’s “Voices of Adult” sessions, Nick Zargarpour and Allan Gelbard will help attendees understand “Talent’s Rights in an Agency Relationship,” while ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning will discuss how age verification has become “An Unstoppable Global Trend.” A panel will later explore “Adult Industry Journalism: Inside and Outside the Business,” discussing how information and disinformation shape the way the industry is perceived in the age of social media.

In addition, attorney Maxine Lynn will explore “Porn & Pleasure Products: A Money-Making Merger in SexTech,” while Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) will tackle “Consent, Ethics & Liability in a Post #MeToo World,” to reveal how directors and producers can cultivate and implement ethical consent negotiations on set. And finally, MojoHost CEO Brad Mitchell will host a mastermind session on “Implementing 2020’s Tech,” providing key insights on the top trends in emerging tech, as well as the costs and challenges of implementing them.

Following an extended break for dinner and the opportunity to don their finest eveningwear, attendees will converge on the red carpet for the glittery return of adult industry’s biggest night — the 2020 XBIZ Awards show — presented by MyFreeCams at the JW Marriot LA Live and once again hosted by adult superstar Stormy Daniels, with red carpet arrivals beginning at 6:30 p.m.

“XBIZ 2020 is set to smash expectations with the most diverse and expansive show schedule yet, bringing high-impact educational, networking and social opportunities to attendees,” XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy said. “Digital media, video production, interactive and more — whatever your line of business, whether you are talent, a producer, digital media marketer or all of the above, you will benefit immensely from this year’s unparalleled showcase of everything adult.”

Free registration for XBIZ 2020 is available for affiliates, producers and talent, while XBIZ.net members qualify for discounted admission.
