MONTREAL — Adult Time has released a new star showcase, "Afrodisiac: A Demi Sutra Story," available now from Pure Taboo and Adult Time.
Directed by Craven Moorehead, "Afrodisiac" is the latest in Pure Taboo's line of star showcases, which invites performers to write and develop their own unique stories for production. In hers, Sutra presents a powerful story of a successful model who faces a litany of rejections from agents, clients and photographers that eventually eat away at her confidence.
Regarding the release, Sutra shared that she was thrilled to partner with Pure Taboo on the project.
“I have wanted to work for Pure Taboo for years now — even before I was actually in the industry," she enthused, "and to be given the opportunity to write my first scene for them was amazing."
“I instantly knew the topic of my scene would be about the self-acceptance of a black model in a world/industry soaked in racism. Obviously I relate to my character deeply, as this story is loosely based on my experiences in modeling and porn."
Discussing how she settled on the overarching theme, Sutra revealed, “I want the viewers to see a different point of view and perhaps relate their own stories of self-acceptance to my character's and my own. True success comes from just that — the absolute acceptance, and love of self," adding, "Oh, and there’s some really hot sex scenes too!”
Moorehead emphasized her sentiments
“Demi’s story is honest and heartbreaking. Her acting performances are incredible in every single scene, and I'm honored to help her share her experiences with others.”
