Andrea Barrica Releases 'Sextech Revolution' Book on Amazon

SAN FRANCISCO — Andrea Barrica, founder and CEO of O.school, has released her first book, "Sextech Revolution: The Future of Sexual Wellness," available now via Amazon in paperback, Kindle and Audible formats.

In the new book, Barrica "reveals the secrets and strategies that underlie success in the sexual wellness market — and the pitfalls that await those who don't understand them," offered a rep, addressing various topics ranging from how sextech startups can secure VC funding, opportunities for women founders to thrive, sexual wellness in the sphere of Facebook and Amazon, Gen Z's influence on the global market and the "approaching sextech revolution."

Drawing on her lived experience being raised in a working-class immigrant family in Northern California, Barrica highlights her fight against stigma and shame on her journey to becoming a successful serial entrepreneur (InDinero, O.school), investor and mentor (500 Startups) and journalist (New York Times, Forbes.com), using her personal anecdotes to outline the simultaneous challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs, activists and anyone who wants to affect change through sex.

With the launch of this latest endeavor, Barrica says that she hopes the book will "demystify an industry that needs more voices, more activists and more engagement from outside the traditional Silicon Valley boys' club."

To that end, she is celebrating the launch of her first book with an intro week price of $0.99 for Kindle purchases aimed at those traditionally excluded from the tech conversation.

"Sextech Revolution is an essential read for anyone interested in joining, or understanding, the rapidly growing sexual wellness industry," noted a rep, with Make Love Not Porn's Cindy Gallop calling it, the "perfect guide for anyone who believes it is possible to change the world through sex."
