Adult Time 'Rocks Out' With a Musical Season 2 of 'Girlcore'

MONTREAL — Adult Time has announced the release of season two of its original series "Girlcore," available exclusively at Girlcore.com and on Adult Time.

"Straight from the ‘80s, 'Girlcore' is cranking the heat up to eleven with a six-episode second season," touted a rep. Created by Adult Time’s CCO, Bree Mills, the latest season features episodes directed by Craven Moorehead and Whitney Wright, following in the original season's widescreen format and cinematic style, paired with a vibrant '80s soundtrack.

The first episode, "Rock You Like a Hurricane," is available online with subsequent episode releases scheduled throughout December and into January.

In the season's debut episode, Charlotte Stokely and Katrina Jade’s band "Twisted Fister" goes head-to-head with Lena Paul and Karla Kush’s "MegaLez" in what reps are calling, "the ultimate Battle of the Bands."

Out December 12, everybody’s "Working for the Weekend" in episode two as "working girls" Brandi Love and Reagan Foxx duke it out in the boardroom to determine who will reign supreme.

The third installment, "She Blinded Me With Science," features Serena Blair and Cadence Lux getting freaky in the lab. They've set out to create the perfect virtual 3D woman (Kenzie Taylor) from bits and pieces, magic, technology and pictures, but a sudden power surge leaves them with an unexpected result.

Mills enthused over the new season, the first of which recently garnered multiple 2020 XBIZ Awards nominations. "This series may be one of the best I’ve ever done," she exclaimed. "We always have way too much fun when we’re working on 'Girlcore,' and these episodes are among my favorites."

“Craven and Whitney did an excellent job with their four episodes, and fans will love reminiscing about an era synonymous with fun.”
