SWOP USA Debuts 'Sacred Whore' 'Herbal Wellness Products

CYBERSPACE — Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) USA has officially launched its Sacred Whore Line of herbal sexual wellness products. Championed as a collaboration between "SWOP and queer, trans, people of color doing healing and sacred work," the line debuted with the Rhythmic Botanicals range, which features eight unique products.

A SWOP USA representative explained the impetus behind the new line, offering insight into the "healing nature of sex work" that translates into Sacred Whore's brand.

"Sex and sexuality have been used to support healing, self-growth and interpersonal connection for centuries in many cultures across the world," they said.

"The healing nature of sex work can be seen today across the industry whether people are intentionally providing healing through the use of tantra to align the spiritual body and release emotional and physical dis-ease, exploring kink practices to deconstruct power and gender-roles, offering a girlfriend experience to provide ongoing emotional intimacy and care, or trading sex in order to access substances that offer temporary relief.

"The Sacred Whore Line from SWOP USA uplifts the mental, emotional and spiritual health of sex workers through self-care and beauty products that are made specifically for people in the sex trade. We feature products and services by healers and sex workers of color, as well queer and transgender healers and sex workers, to honor the cultural roots of healing modalities and people most impacted by whorephobia."

Included in the line are several honeys, tinctures, healing sprays, tea, sleep sachets, glycerites, floral bath salts and a yoni steam, and several Rhythmic Botanicals bundles.

Starting at $12, Rhythmic Botanicals offers edible Healing Honey in both a 2oz and 4oz jar, and in five flavors: Chocolate Kisses, Sweet Sin, Sex Drive, Lips and Labia and Tantric Touch, each of which is infused with various organic herbs.

The collection's alcohol-based herbal tinctures are available in 1oz and 2oz sizes and include nine options: It Ain’t Hard to Hustle No Mo, Sensual Flow, Cum Down, Can’t Affect Me, Chemsex, ApHOdisiac, Germ Repellent, Sleeping Sluts and Feel Better, each designed to address a specific purpose.

Its glycerites offer a "tasty, sweet, non-alcohol, vegetarian-based alternative to tinctures," explained a rep. Bottles in 1oz and 2oz sizes are available in FTMS Journey, Self-Care Journey, Dinner Date Journey, Soothing Journey, Tantric Journey, Holy Journey, Sugar Mama Journey, Healing Journey, Bondage Journey and Chem Sex flavors.

Meanwhile, its 2oz healing sprays are available in four formulations and are specially crafted to shift energy. "Use them before and after seeing clients in your in-call, to help set the space or mood, or to help leave work behind for the day/night," recommends the product description.

Teas for Tarts come in either 1oz or 2oz bundles and are available in five flavors, while the Herbal Sleep Sachets are available in one-size packs for $10, with a selection of four flavors.

Herbal Healing Baths are packaged in large non-bleached tea bags and can be easily placed into a spiritual bath or used as a grounding foot soak. They are available for $6 per single sachet in either a lavender and pink rose petal Popper Salts or Himalayan salt and nettle Douche Salts.

Finally, the collection's Sacred Space Yoni steams are available in 2oz and 4oz packages, in either a Catharsis or Love and Light blend.

The line's Bundle options includes a product sampler with one item from each category; All Sprays; a Sensual Package with two tinctures, a sleep sachet, Sex Drive Honey and the Healing Journey glycerite; the Calm Package; On the Go package; and the Healing Ritual bundle.

"Community and collective care is something that there is a great shortage of in the sex workers' rights movement, and we hope that this new project can help to bridge some of those gaps," concluded the company spokesperson.
