LOS ANGELES — Joybear Pictures has released its latest title, “Everyday Turn-ons,” and is now shipping to retailers this week, in time for an October 29 street date via Pulse Distribution.
Kali Sudhra stars as podcaster Effie B., reenacting "steamy erotic scenarios" based on real-life situations for the U.K. studio’s newest glamcore release.
"Whilst so many studios are focused on pushing the envelope, here at Joybear we think 'sexy' can come from anywhere," said Joybear Pictures Founder and CEO Justin Santos. "'Everyday Turn-ons' is a nod to those electric moments which spring up when you least expect them."
Julia Roca, Amber Nevada, Katana and Liz Rainbow fill out the cast, in addition to Bel Gris, Juan Lucho, Marcus Quillan and Romeo, "Everyday Turn-ons" opens with the story of Nora (Roca): she's distracted by the sounds of her neighbors having sex but turns the situation around, using the noise as an erotic soundtrack to masturbate to. Her partner (Gris) decides to enhance the situation by creating a bespoke experience with headphones and a blindfold. Hearing anonymous couples having sex coupled with the thrill of sensory deprivation push the pair over the edge as they lose themselves "in the throes of orgasm," said a rep.
In the next vignette, Jackie (Nevada) is shy when it comes to receiving oral sex, but Nelson (Lucho) is determined to prove to her how pleasurable it can be.
The third story features Sudhra in a gender-play scene. Her friend Shan (Katana) has been missing her boyfriend while he’s away at work and so Sudhra surprises her. Dressing in his clothes, she takes on the role of Shan's boyfriend for a "thrilling scene."
Next, Gavin (Quillan) wakes in the middle of the night to find Mary (Rainbow) cocooned in their sheets. When she admits that she enjoys being restrained, the couple explore bondage in various forms.
The final scene features Katana and Mark (Romeo) as a modern couple trying to make time for sex in their busy schedules. As per the scene description, "when an effort to have sex before a party is derailed right before orgasm, the couple discovers the joy of delayed satisfaction, edging and tease-and-denial play, proving good things do come to those who wait."
