LOS ANGELES — Wicked contract star and sex educator Jessica Drake is encouraging the adult industry to join Team Wicked in the 35th Annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles. The event takes place on Sunday, October 20, in downtown Los Angeles.
Those interested in donating can sign up either as a walker or as a non-walking fundraising team member.
“It’s that time of year again, and I want to invite everyone in the industry to join #TEAMWICKED to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS,” said Drake. “AIDS Walk Los Angeles always occurs near my birthday, and it’s an honor to celebrate with those who come together for such a great cause which affects everyone. I welcome all colleagues, friends, and supporters to participate in any way which resonates for them.”
To date, the Drake-led Team Wicked has raised over $115k towards AIDS and HIV research, treatment and prevention and “she takes great pride in this industry's show of solidarity which benefits an important cause near and dear to members of the adult industry,” said a rep.
Once registered, participants will have their very own page to customize and promote in any way they please. There is no minimum requirement, and members of Team Wicked are not required to walk.
