Precipice Magazine to Unveil Premiere Issue at Sex Expo NY

NEW YORK CITY — Precipice Magazine will showcase its first issue at Sex Expo New York 2019, set for this weekend, September 21-22, at the Brooklyn Expo Center.

At a time when publications are published only online, the sex-positive Precipice will emphasize a sleek, printed format. Valarie Merced, Precipice’s founder and editor-in-chief, will be on hand in its Sex Expo New York booth to meet and greet attendees.

She explained that Precipice will primarily explore "the psychology of love, sex and desire," via academics, art, interviews and short stories, with the goal being to "expand perspectives on sex and love beyond tips and tricks into a deeper, more nuanced conversation about intimacy. Precipice wants to reveal what it is like to be a sensual, sexual being."

"Sometimes, this is funny, weird, dark, sad or ecstatic," she added. "I want to take you past your comfort zone. I want to encourage everyone to explore their precipices."

Presented by Chaturbate, Sex Expo New York 2019 will feature contests and giveaways along with showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers and sex-ed workshops hosted by a wide range of educators and sexual wellness experts.

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble Street in Greenpoint and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Avenue subway station, which is served by the G Train.
