Grooby's Black-TGirls.com Wins Urban X Award

LOS ANGELES — Grooby is trumpeting its win for Best Trans Website this weekend at the 2019 Urban X Awards. The trophy was awarded to Grooby’s venerable Black-TGirls.com.

“What a lovely surprise to wake up to,” said Steven Grooby, company founder and CEO. “And I believe, in its 22 years, this is the first award Black-TGirls has won. I thank Urban X and those who voted for us. We'll strive to continue to bring the best in black trans entertainment.”

Grooby praised another Urban X winner. “Love and congratulations to the Trans Performer of the Year, Natassia Dreams, on her big win. She is a pioneer in our industry and we’re thrilled to see her work recognized.”
