MONTREAL — Adult Time has released the latest "twisted tale" from Pure Taboo, "Bishop’s Interview: An Alina Lopez Story," available now at PureTaboo.com.
Written by and starring Lopez, the "provocative and cathartic" title is based on Lopez's lived experience growing up Mormon. As reps note, "[Lopez] delivers a powerful performance as Alicia, a churchgoing good girl who is carrying guilt — namely, losing her virginity to her boyfriend — and her congregation’s Bishop (Dick Chibbles) can’t help but notice when Lopez passes on partaking in the sacrament."
To "relieve her of her burden," the Bishop invites her for a private session and makes a coercive suggestion, crooning to her, "You have such a beautiful temple. As a priest… it is my right to enter that temple."
Lopez describes "Bishop’s Interview," because of its autobiographical elements, as "the most personal project" she's done to date. "It’s time for the world to see all the fucked-up occurrences that happen in the church behind closed doors.”
She continued, "I’ve had this idea for so long and I’m so thankful to Bree for giving me a platform to execute it."
