Ian Kulp Joins Lora DiCarlo as Senior Retail Marketing Manager

BEND, Ore. — Ian Kulp has joined premium sex tech brand Lora DiCarlo as the senior retail marketing manager.

Formerly the director of merchandising and retail strategy at the Museum of Sex in New York, Kulp has 20 years of experience in business development, merchandising, front of house marketing, product development and technical design, working with brands such as Calvin Klein, Supreme, Paul Mitchell and MAC cosmetics, to launch lines and brands globally.

In his new role, Kulp will work closely with Lora DiCarlo’s global B2B accounts to optimize and grow all retail and distribution channels, and to increase brand awareness and customer engagement in preparation for the Fall 2019 launch of Osé, the brand’s flagship personal massager that uses micro-robotic technology to achieve blended orgasms. He will additionally  drive all retail marketing strategy and new client on-boarding initiatives internationally, as well as attend trade shows globally.

“We are so proud to have Ian join the Lora DiCarlo team,” said Lora Haddock, founder and CEO of Lora DiCarlo. “His passion for destigmatization of sex and pleasure in any form, body acceptance and gender equity makes him a perfect cultural fit with the Lora DiCarlo team and mission. His proven knowledge and experience will help us to ensure that we’re truly meeting the needs of all of our B2B partners and driving our mission forward.”

For his part, Kulp noted, “Words cannot express my excitement about joining Lora DiCarlo. Lora’s alignment, brand positioning and mission is exactly what the industry needs now. I want to always empower others, educate others, and create inclusive, positive and safe spaces for doing so. I am looking forward to being part of the change in the industry and mainstream culture, a change that represents not only sexual freedom, health and wellness but inclusion across all boundaries and borders.”

Kulp will be joining the rest of the Lora DiCarlo team at the upcoming July ANME Show where they will be exhibiting at booth #111 in the Exhibitors Tent. He will be based on the east coast with time split between New York and visits to accounts and trade shows globally.
