LOS ANGELES — Former adult star and current psychology student Jenna Haze has given a TEDx Talk, “Porn: A Shift in Mindset.”
Jenna delivered her TEDx Talk at Hasselt University in Belgium.
“Pornography’s prevalence in today’s society is obvious, with a large percentage of the world choosing to indulge in online free porn, a fact well documented by internet traffic statistics. Simultaneously, American culture, through various mediums of entertainment, has adopted and portrayed adult films as practically a part of daily life,” said Jenna, who asked, “If porn is becoming so much more mainstream, have perspectives about it changed?”
During her discussion, Jenna touched upon societal perceptions about pornography, the adult industry, its performers, and its viewers in this era of sexual saturation.
“After retiring from performing in films, I started to attend college with a sharp focus on psychology and becoming a therapist,” Jenna added. “I am also pursuing creative projects and endeavors, such as the release of books and collaborations with artists.”
