Petra Blair, Zoey Monroe Enter 'Sex/Cult' for Wicked Pictures

LOS ANGELES — Starlets Petra Blair and Zoey Monroe become tangled up in a “Sex/Cult” for Wicked Pictures and director Hank Hoffman.

The movie is now in wholesale/retail release and streaming online. Bobbi Dylan fills out the cast; male talent includes Ryan Driller, Ramon Nomar and Codey Steele.

Today’s 21st-Century cults “often look more like self-improvement organizations, social clubs and political movements than the fringe spiritual sects of yesteryear,” a rep said.

As the movie opens, “winsome country girl Kacey (Blair)” is feeling stifled by her small town fiancé and escapes to the city where she meets Chloe (Monroe) and finds herself drawn to “a mysterious compound filled with beautiful men and women,” notes the rep. “After Chloe seduces her, Kacey is introduced to Jacques (Driller), the charismatic leader of an elite cadre of willing servants.”

Kacey gives in to her new lusty, fast-paced life; however, when she uncovers the truth about the group — its leaders are grifters who quietly drain the bank accounts of their followers — Kacey faces a difficult choice.

The “dark, erotic journey” is “replete with rich and varied B/G, G/G and group scenarios which enhance the storyline and create a palpable sense of suspense, ‘Sex/Cult’ finds Petra delivering a poignant, psychologically informed performance,” notes the rep. “As she navigates the emotional landscape of Hoffman's intricate screenplay, she creates a moving portrait of a young woman drawing on her own inner strength to fuel her quest to not just survive, but thrive.”
