XBIZ Berlin Doubles Down on 'P3': Paysites, Producers and Performers

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce its renewed focus on the business of content for the 2019 edition of XBIZ Berlin, culminating with the triumphant return of the XBIZ Europa Awards.

Sitting at the crossroads of Europe and the broader world beyond, the upcoming edition of XBIZ Berlin, set for Sept. 9-12, will unite industry members from international markets to bring attendees cutting-edge discussions, top deal-making opportunities and exclusive social events.

Among the show’s enhancements for 2019, XBIZ Berlin will apply laser focus on content production and monetization, while bridging ancillary markets that enable commerce, such as traffic and technology providers.

“Based on the sharp rise in attendance, we are renewing our focus on the needs of content players,” said XBIZ founder and publisher Alec Helmy. “Berlin's unique value proposition is simple: if you make money from content, be it directly or indirectly, then there’s no better place to do business with likeminded individuals.”

This year, XBIZ Berlin will feature a newly upgraded educational program comprised of three types of sessions:

    • “Meeting of the Minds” will invite market peers to engage in “open floor” discussions about issues pertaining to their line of business (e.g. paysite operators, producers, performers, etc.).
    • “Super Roundtable” sessions will gather attendees at several tables, each of which is dedicated to a sub-topic and chaired by a specialist — for example, a session dedicated to paysites may have one table discussing traffic, another examining payment processing and another addressing age verification solutions. The specialists will then switch tables at set intervals in order to engage each attendee in the room.
    • “Mega Symposiums” will provide attendees with the traditional seminar format best suited for panelist/audience topics such as the perennially popular State of the Industry.

In addition, XBIZ Berlin will feature a keynote address by a to-be-announced elite visionary, providing attendees an exclusive opportunity to acquire valuable insights from a revered business leader.

In the coming weeks, XBIZ will also announce the official “show ambassadors” for the international conference, unveiling a distinguished group of industry influencers that will collaborate closely with event organizers to promote this year’s program through community outreach, speaker recommendations and personal service as go-to guides during the show.

And finally, serving as a climactic culmination of the international conference, the 2019 XBIZ Europa Awards will recognize outstanding achievements across adult with the most prestigious industry honors in Europe. Bringing its signature Hollywood red-carpet glitz, the XBIZ Europas will once more crown a continent, spotlighting the stars and brands that propel adult entertainment forward in the region and beyond.
