MONTREAL — Pure Taboo has released the latest spotlight showcase from director/producer Bree Mills titled “The Starlet: A Casey Calvert Story,” available now at PureTaboo.com and on Adult Time.
Mills and Calvert worked closely to develop the script, eventually settling on Calvert’s original concept of a “bratty, impossible-to-work-with Hollywood starlet named Emma who goes head-to-head in an all-out brawl with her movie’s new stuntman trainer/ex-boyfriend Michael (Derrick Pierce),” said a rep.
"I always value the opportunity to collaborate with Casey Calvert,” said Mills of the star. “The character dynamics in this episode are fascinating to watch unfold, and the sexual energy between her and Derrick Pierce is electric. Not to be missed!"
“The Starlet” is truly a vehicle for Calvert to flex her acting chops. Deviating from more traditional hero-centric stories, Calvert embraces the role of a fierce anti-heroine, sucker punching her ex and challenging him to a brawl where the winner takes “whatever they want.” Appearing as “unapologetically cruel” and deliciously egocentric, Calvert’s performance fuels the fiery dynamic between her and Pierce that builds to an ultimately explosive climax.
