SexToyCollective Offers Design Tool for Custom 3D Printed Dildos

LOS ANGELES — SexToyCollective.com has launched an online tool that allows users to design and print butt plugs and dildos in their preferred size and shape.

According to the company, by using 3D prints to cast a mold for making toys in a production setting, anyone who can’t seem to find an ideal shape now has a customizable option via its Dildo Sculptor.

“Even without access to 3D printers, users can simply download the .STL file of their custom dildo under the ‘publish’ section and upload it to online 3D printing services like 3Dhubs,” a company representative explains. “Depending on the size of the dildo, they can mail the finished product at a cost of between $5 and $20.”

In terms of 3D printer materials, users can choose to use ABS plastic, though it adds a bit of texture to the dildo. Using medium-grit sandpaper, it can be smoothed down and then used to create a mold that reflects the size and shape of the dildo. Once the mold is ready, the user pours silicone into it, which after about four hours of curing, is gently removed.

“Some users may choose not to print their dildo immediately. They have an option to share it by simply adding it to the gallery under the ‘publish’ section,” the representative says. “There is a prompt to fill in a few details about the created dildo and take a screen shot. The dildo will then be added to the gallery for other fantasy sex enthusiast to view. Users can also like other people’s dildos or even pick one that appeals to their pleasures and load the shape.”
