LOS ANGELES — Pleasure Chest has named Phoebe Grott as its new national purchasing director.
Grott will join Head of Business Operations Sarah Tomchesson and Pleasure Chest owner Brian Robinson as part of the core leadership team of the retail chain.
As purchasing director, Grott will curate Pleasure Chest's diverse and high-quality product selection, fine-tune allocation strategies, and build upon the chain's strong industry partnerships.

I had the opportunity to work with Phoebe in our early years at Babeland and I've admired her work from afar ever since. Grott had previously held the position of senior buyer at Babeland and most recently served as the VP of buying and merchandise with eCommerce retailer Ella Paradis. With over a decade of experience in the industry, she boasts a record of success in product selection, assortment planning, inventory management, and product and packaging design.

Grott will be replacing Pleasure Chest's previous buyer Victor Tobar, “whose leadership and experience has contributed to the growth of the Pleasure Chest as a leader in the Adult Retail Industry over the past seven years,” stated a company representative.
