Voodoo Toys Announces Market Exclusivity Program

LOS ANGELES — Adult pleasure brand Voodoo, owned by parent company Thank Me Now, Inc., has announced its marketing exclusivity program to highlight its increased focus on driving attention and sales to adult stores.

Thank Me Now, Inc. previously carved a name for itself in the industry with the Shibari Wands range of toys. Fresh off the successful launch of the Voodoo, a brand of pleasure products focused on self-care and wellness, company CEO Kevin Mirarchi says he sees the vision for Voodoo as a retail store-first brand, designed to bring new customers to existing retailers.

“Voodoo’s range, the packaging and the design was created with retail stores in mind,” he said. “Adult stores are always looking for ways to stand out and differentiate themselves to their customers. That is why our team is excited about the launch of our retail-oriented brand, Voodoo. Voodoo will launch with its lines and products exclusive to adult stores, and will not be available on Amazon.”

Mirarchi says he believes there’s a need for brands to continue to prioritize a retail-first strategy, emphasizing a more personal customer experience of purchasing from smaller retailers.

In order to drive new customers to view the full range in-stores, the company says it will roll out an extended line of products over the following months, supported by a major marketing and PR campaign planned for 2019, including events and social ambassadors.

“The Voodoo brand will aim to be part of the larger conversation about sexuality, masturbation, body-positivity and empowerment, with the stated goal of driving customers to adult stores,” Mirarchi said.
