SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon Studios Group and the NakedSword Network are touting 91 total nominations from the 20th annual Grabby Awards, presented by Chicago’s LGBTQ biweekly Grab Magazine.
The wealth covers their films, exclusive performers, directors, writers, photographers and editors, as well as all of their major brands: Falcon Studios, Raging Stallion Studios, Hot House Video and NakedSword Originals. Twenty films and 10 performers, across 20 model-specific categories, received citations.
A pair of erotic parodies —“The Slutty Professor” (NakedSword Originals) and “Zack & Jack Make a Porno” (Falcon Studios) — received ten Grabby nods apiece, while the NakedSword Originals collaboration with BelAmi, “The Last Rose,” the final onscreen performance of Ryan Rose, received nine nominations. Raging Stallion’s erotic action-thriller “Bounty Hunters” was crowed with eight nods.
Raging Stallion’s thriller “Vice” joins “The Last Rose” and “The Slutty Professor” as Best Movie or Web Series nominees. A pair of NakedSword Originals films — “Berkeley: Sophomore Year” and “Nob Hill” — join “Otter Erotic” (Raging Stallion) and “Jock Doc” (Hot House) as Best All-Sex Movie nominees.
"Bounty Hunters,” “Nob Hill” and “Zack & Jack Make a Porno” are also represented in the Steamworks Fan Favorite Movie category.
Steve Cruz, Tony Dimarco and mr. Pam earned nods for Best Director, Movie/Web Series, while pam was also cited in Best Videography. Bruno Bond, Jessie Garcia and Cruz are Best Editing nominees. Partner directors Chi Chi LaRue and DP Welles were also cited for their work with the company.
Exclusive performers Woody Fox, Devin Franco, Skyy Knox, Ryan Rose, Johnny V, Alam Wernik and Austin Wolf each received individual nominations; Fox and Wernik walked away with a total of six nods apiece.
Knox — an XBIZ Awards nominee this year for Gay Performer of the Year — received seven total nominations: Performer of the Year, Best Supporting Actor, Hottest Bottom, Hottest Body, Hottest Duo, Hottest Flop and Hottest Rimming.
Earlier this year, Falcon, Raging Stallion and NakedSword Originals were XBIZ Awards nominees for Gay Studio of the Year, with the latter taking home the trophy for the third consecutive year.
