Wicked Releases Axel Braun's 'The Possession of Mrs. Hyde' on DVD

LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures has released Axel Braun’s award-winning film, “The Possession of Mrs. Hyde,” on DVD.

The 2-disc collector’s edition booklet-style set is now available for purchase in stores and through online retailers and includes 10 bonus scenes.

Braun himself penned the screenplay in collaboration with his late father, Golden Age maestro Lasse Braun, and his son, adult filmmaker Rikki Braun. Braun’s first original feature in fifteen years, "Mrs. Hyde" swept the awards season, including a win for Avi Love at the 2019 XBIZ Awards for Best Actress in a Feature Movie.

Shot entirely in black-and-white CinemaScope 2.35:1, and driven by standout performances from Love and costar Seth Gamble as Mr. Hyde, this thriller puts a new spin on the famous Robert Louis Stevenson novel by borrowing some of the key characters while expanding its narrative. Notable performers Jessica Drake, Tom Byron, Victoria Voxxx, Kenna James, Ramon Nomar, Charlotte Stokely, Reagan Foxx and Alex Legend round out the cast.

Garnering widespread attention from the industry, “The Possession of Mrs. Hyde” earned Braun some of the most effusive praise of his career.

To the overwhelming praise, Braun responded, "When you pour your heart into a project and give it your all, it becomes a very gratifying experience, regardless of its success. Making this movie was an absolute joy, and all the accolades it received are the icing on the cake. I was lucky enough to have two extraordinary lead actors, Avi Love and Seth Gamble, and together with our incredible cast and crew we were able to take a journey that I will forever remember as the best filmmaking experience of my career."
