'Holly Randall Unfiltered' Hits 50K Monthly Download Milestone

LOS ANGELES — “Holly Randall Unfiltered” has reached a milestone: the popular podcast now enjoys an average of 50,000 downloads per month.

The accomplishment places the program, launched in July 2017, among the top 10 percent of all podcasts worldwide. Its rapid growth, a rep notes, has “both thrilled and surprised” its host and creator, the XBIZ Award-winning erotic photographer, director and TV personality Holly Randall.

However, the host believes there is “a key ingredient” that differentiates her show from other sex-oriented podcasts. “Throw away everything you know about porn. When you strip away the glamour, the fantasy, and the mystery that surrounds the adult industry, what you are left with are real people,” she said. “People with dreams, fears, pain and hope. That is what I want my audience to see. The stripped-down version of the porn star they think they know.”

Recent guests have included A-listers Asa Akira, Lisa Ann, Dani Daniels, Kira Noir, Romi Rain, Kissa Sins, Dana Vespoli and Angela White. “It’s no wonder that fans of porn are curious to check out the show. But what really matters to Randall is the loyalty — and the feedback — she gets from her listeners,” said the rep. “Many fans have told Holly that she’s changed their mind” about how they see porn stars, and the industry in general.

“That’s when I know that what I’m doing actually matters,” said Randall.

“Every day I get messages or comments from people telling me how much they love the show. My guests are so varied; I get everything from hilariously side-splitting stories about disasters on set, to heart-wrenching stories of personal journeys of redemption and forgiveness. I feel closer to the people in the adult community than ever before, because this show has really allowed me to get to know the people I work with on a whole other level.”
