ManyVids Launches MV Social

MONTREAL — ManyVids has launched its MV Social platform, which it calls “a new kind of social media.”

According to the company, social media has become an essential part of everyone’s life and for adult performers and content creators an important part of their business and livelihood, but every year social media platforms become more and more censorious, sex-negative, and anti-sex worker.

“Because of these disturbing trends and developments, ManyVids had decided to create a new kind of social network that’s a safe place for free speech and adult content,” says a company spokesperson. “Currently, an MV Star’s profile is the hub for each star to drive interaction, promote their content, and sell their vids and services, and MV Social will transform the profile pages into a powerful (and fun!) multifaceted tool to connect to fans and generate even more revenue for the MV Stars.”

Connected to every MV profile will be the new MV social feed where MV Stars are able to post text, photos, GIFs, and videos to their feed, follow other MV Stars and members, receive updates from them into their feed, and re-MV posts from other users to easily share their friends’ and fans’ MV Posts, and will also highlight content sales, newly uploaded content, promo codes, contest participation, and more.
