MONTREAL — Mona Wales toplines “Confessions of a Sinful Nun 2: The Rise of Sister Mona,” forthcoming from Mile High Media imprint Sweetheart Video.
The film’s full cast and poster art were unveiled today. In addition to Wales, Charlotte Stokely and Nina Hartley reprise their roles from the first film as “Sister Charlotte” and “Mother Superior.”
Cassidy Banks, Kenna James, Lena Paul, Serene Siren and Magdalene St. Michaels fill out the cast for writer and director Ricky Greenwood, who also helmed the original.
The sequel “continues the taboo story from the 2017 blockbuster starring Stokely as a wayward nun exploring her sexuality. The new, erotic ‘nunsploitation’ film’s poster features Mona in her nun’s habit as she prays, while an image of her being orally pleasured by another nun is superimposed below her,” a rep said.
“We are pleased to give fans a sneak peek at the movie’s new poster,” said Jon Blitt, Mile High’s VP. “After the blockbuster original film, fans have been patiently waiting for its sequel and so we wanted give them a taste of this compelling new film that continues the forbidden tale of lustful nuns.”
The film is on the release schedule for April.

The original “Confessions of a Sinful Nun” earned 11 XBIZ Awards nominations.
