Autoblow A.I. Sets Crowdfunding Record for Male Sex Toys

CHICAGO — Autoblow A.I. said it has set a new record as the highest crowdfunded male sex toy in history.

The company, led by entrepreneur Brian Sloan, received $315,000 in pre-sale pledges from 2,400 men on Indiegogo.

The device provides users 10 oral sex experiences using a combination of 16 stroking techniques, programmed using knowledge gained from the first-ever machine learning study of blowjob mechanics.

In order to create the Autoblow A.I.’s movements, Sloan’s team watched and manually ingested data from 8,000 minutes of videos of oral sex performed upon men before handing a terabyte of tagged blowjob images over to a team of artificial intelligence scientists.

The scientists applied several types of machine learning algorithms to the dataset to discover the 16 most common movements of oral sex givers’ mouths on receivers’ penises. (Check out the study here and movements here and here.)

The pleasure product combines electronics with patent-pending robotics to grip and pull the penis in human- like ways.

The machine’s microcontroller works with an I.R. beam sensor and magnetic field sensors to control a gripper that manipulates a sleeve between any of 250 micro-locations along the five-inch long stroking plane.

Provided he is using lubricant, the male user will experience the same gliding and sliding sensation that occurs during oral sex performed by a human-being using his or her mouth, hand, and saliva.

The crowdfunding campaign launched on Oct. 17 with a goal of raising $50,000, and concluded in mid December raising 315,000, or 626 percent of its initial goal.

The campaign still remains open for pre-sales and has now, as of Jan. 3, raised $340,000 from 2,600 backers.

“Many people, thinking it’s strange, have asked me why I would devote years  of my life to creating a device that gives oral sex to men,” Sloan said. “Now that Autoblow A.I. has been prepurchased by more than 2,400 men in 46 countries the reason should be crystal clear: because this is what men want.

"The monotony of manual masturbation will no longer be a burden to the men who choose my device. Although masturbation is something we do by ourselves, I believe we can use artificial intelligence to make the experience infinitely more fulfilling.”
