iWantRadio Welcomes 'Girl Boner' Creator August McLaughlin Today

LOS ANGELES — Sexpert and “Girl Boner” creator August McLaughlin guests on iWantRadio from 2-3 p.m PST today.

The show is broadcast on SiriusXM channel 415. McLaughlin will discuss sexual empowerment, among other topics, a rep said, with cohosts Bratty Nikki and Dr. Michelle Lovejoy.

“If you’re a fan of iWantRadio, this is one show you will not want to miss. August McLaughlin is one accomplished and knowledgeable lady when it comes to sex, relationships and gender equality issues,” Lovejoy said. “She is outspoken, empowered and with a resume that will impress even the most cynical troll in all of social media, so please join us for the most enlightening and educational hour you will ever spend.”

McLaughlin is "a nationally recognized health and sexuality writer, media personality and host and creator of ‘Girl Boner’ and Girl Boner Radio. She has written a wide range of articles that have appeared in Cosmopolitan, The Washington Post, DAME Magazine, Huffington Post and others,” a rep said.

“A frequent speaker on sexuality and gender equality issues, she has been a featured TEDx presenter and attended the United State of Women summit, convened by the White House, where she was nominated Change Maker. Publishers Weekly described her book, ‘Girl Boner: The Good Girls’ Guide to Sexual Empowerment’ as ‘equally fun, risqué, and informative’ and ‘a welcome addition to sexual health literature.’” A companion volume, “Girl Boner Journal: A Guided Journal to Self-Awareness,” is now available.

McLaughlin looks forward to sharing her message with the iWantRadio audience. “I am excited to meet and hang out with two very empowered and actualized women, Dr. Lovejoy and Bratty Nikki, and to share some of my experience and insights on sexual empowerment and sexuality,” she said.

iWantRadio is “dedicated to creating an open dialogue about human sexuality, fetish and evolution toward acceptance and celebration of consensual sex,” the rep said.
