Megacams Upgrades Facial Recognition Technology

LOS ANGELES — Following the release of its “find your doppelganger tool” two years ago, Megacams has announced a major upgrade to its facial recognition technology, which enables users to upload a person’s photo to discover similar-appearing models.

Megacams is a live sex search engine that includes feeds from multiple sites such as Chaturbate, Bongacams, LiveJasmin, Xlovecam, Xcams and Camgasm all on one site. The models’ live streams are watched and analyzed by an internal team and the models are placed into the correct categories based on hair color, skin type, bust size and more, so users can find a cam girl that meets their desires.

According to the company, it took the original doppelganger tool offline a few months ago because it was outdated, saying the results weren’t satisfying anymore.

“After a few months of hard work, we are happy to bring you the improved version of our Megacams ‘find your doppelganger’ tool!” a company spokesperson exclaims. “Starting from today you will be able to find doppelgangers of yourself instantly on Megacams.”

The spokesperson notes the company worked on a solution that gets better matches than before, relying on a huge amount of data to make it easy for fans to find their favorite cam performer.

“Now using facial recognition technology, we are even more accurate [in finding] your complete and exact fantasy girl online,” the spokesperson adds. “Upload your picture directly in the tool and you will get the results directly to your mailbox. Just test it and have fun with it!”

To use the doppelganger system, site visitors simply upload a picture to Megacams, which currently has a database of more than 180,000 cam models, with approximately 5,000 performers simultaneously online at any one time.

“The facial recognition algorithm is [continually] trained with cam model images when they are online,” the spokesperson concludes, “this way our algorithm is improving minute [by] minute.”
