CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Holly Randall, the prolific veteran adult photographer, director and producer, disclosed today that she’ll be directing her first feature movie for Wicked Pictures next month.
The XBIZ Award-winning Randall, one of the business’ most sought-after photographers, also is the daughter of trailblazer Suze Randall, the first female photographer for both Playboy and Hustler and one of the earliest female adult directors.
Holly Randall told XBIZ that it has always wanted to shoot for Wicked. She has shot for numerous adult studios such as Twistys, Digital Playground and Playboy Plus, among scores of others.
“For years I've actually been trying to get my foot in the door, so I'm pretty excited that it has finally come to fruition,” Holly Randall said. “I know most people only know me as a photographer, but I think I'm a fairly decent director as well so I hope that my work with Wicked can prove that.
“I normally only direct web-based scenes, and the features I have directed were always scripts written by the client I was shooting for. In this case, I'm writing, producing and directing my own feature, which is something I've never done before.”
Holly Randall described her first Wicked feature production as an office-scenario drama — with a little romance involved.
The release, whose title hasn’t yet been divulged, stars main characters Alison Rey and Seth Gamble, along with Eliza Ibarra, Bridgette B, Jane Wilde, Derrick Pierce, Rion King and Codey Steele.
“I didn't want to start off with something too outlandish and complicated, and that wasn't what Wicked was looking from me anyhow,” Randall said. “So, this will be a sweet little romantic drama.”
Holly Randall started in the adult biz by working for mom Suze Randall on Suze.net in 2004. In 2008, she launched her own production company, Holly Randall Productions, along with her namesake website, HollyRandall.com.
In addition to shooting adult content for the industry’s top studios, Holly Randall also hosts a podcast called, “Holly Randall Unfiltered.”
Every week on the podcast, Holly Randall explores a wide range of topics alongside popular adult stars, veteran filmmakers, sex therapists, educators, advocates and comedians.
She recently announced that she has reached more than 500,000 downloads for the podcast, which, she noted, “delivers an honest and humorous outlook on life and strips down the public’s misconceptions about the porn business, revealing the real people behind the fantasy.”
Earlier this year, Holly Randall also debuted “Kinky Lingerie Girls,” a coffee table book featuring stunning super models in sexy lingerie, stripping completely naked. She also was involved with another book this year, “Pussy & Butt,” which included her photosets, along with those from Dave Naz and Chas Ray Krider. Both books were released by Goliath Books.
