LOS ANGELES — On Thursday Nov. 15, Le Wand and The Pleasure Chest are teaming up to bring consumers "Sex + Senses," an interactive experience described as "merging the physiology and psychology of sexuality with the sensual pleasure of the five senses."
“Sex + Senses” will showcase Le Wand’s latest arrival: the "already bestselling" Le Wand Petite. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with multiple stations dedicated to the merging of each of the senses and sexuality. Attendees are invited to explore the sensual side effects of scent with essential oils from local perfumery Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, take in the sights of "the beautiful sensual-inspired artwork by blind-contour artist Ian Sklarsky" and feel the touch of the vibes with "a explorative frission station."
A specialty caterer will be on-site to help engage guests' sense of taste with "an aphrodisiac station that will see appetizers and chocolates paired with a wine and a toy" — each course tailored to represent a phase of the orgasm cycle (foreplay, plateau, climax and resolution).
The event comes to a head towards the end of the evening with a live burlesque show "encapsulating all of the senses explored throughout the evening in a sensual spectacle of local talent."
The “Sex + Senses” event is a follow-up to Le Wand’s “Sex + Sound” party, which introduced the world to the new Le Wand Petite this past summer in New York City. The event delved deep into the physiological and psychological relationship between sexuality and sound through a series of interactive stations. "The unique event was so popular, it was decided that it should evolve," according to a rep, "this time incorporating all of the senses on display in an even larger and interactive fusion of sex and artistry."
Le Wand founder and managing director Alicia Sinclair said, “We’re thrilled to join forces with the Pleasure Chest yet again for what’s sure to be another phenomenal event. The ‘Sex + Sound’ event in New York presented attendees with a new and unique means of exploring the unexpected relationship of sensuality and sound. With ‘Sex + Senses’, we hope to step it up a notch and encourage attendees to further explore their sexuality in a full-body, multisensory way. I’m excited to share our artistically crafted stations and amazing live performances with our guests — this time on the West Coast!”
Pleasure Chest Los Angeles is located at 7733 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, Calif., 90046. The “Sex + Senses” interactive event is free to attend and is set for Thursday, Nov. 15 from 8 to 11 p.m. (PST) with the live show starting at 9:30 p.m.
