“We’re excited that she’s our first transgender client,” PornStarDollar Owner/President Don Osterholt told XBIZ. “And by the looks of her website — we’ve only had it running somewhere between two and three weeks — the amount of new members that we have signed and the conversion ratios of those members is just huge.”
Darling, who had operated her own site for several years, decided to approach PornStarDollars with the idea of revamping with a fresh, new look.
“Actually, I just felt that they seemed to be a really big company. They seemed to know what they were doing,” Darling said. “They had big-name girls with them, and I figured at this point I could use a little help on the website end of it. So if I could get them to take me on as a client that would be good not only for business but overall.
“They did an amazing job and I think the difference in design, look and feel of the site has targeted people that were maybe missed before,” Darling said.
Since launching the redesigned site two weeks ago, Osterholt said the response has been exceptionally strong.
“She’s got hundreds of members that have joined already. We’re really happy about it,” Osterholt said. “We do know a lot about the DVD market, and we do know that’s a genre that sells. With Gia Darling we seem to have even an exaggerated fan base or following, maybe because it’s the niche of being a transsexual. So far, the results are outstanding.”
Darling was surprised by the immediate attention and feedback from fans at the site.
“Literally, when we went up, I only promoted in very limited places and in a couple of days, we had 85 sign-ups,” she said. “And that’s with no advertising at all. That’s just with me sending a little thing on MySpace. I’m really excited and when we start the actual promotion of it, I’ll be anxious to see how that goes.”
PornStarDollars hosts more that 72 adult celebrity sites. Some of the performers included on their exclusive site-list include Hillary Scott, Kirsten Price, Courtney Cumz, Sunrise Adams, Ginger Lynn, Kobe Tai, Houston, Mari Possa, Monica Mayhem, Barrett Blade and Seymore Butts.
