Eliza Jane Leads All-Star Cast in Pure Taboo's 'Anne -- Act One: The Orphanage'

MONTREAL — Pure Taboo today released “Act One: The Orphanage,” the first episode of the studio’s new series, “Anne, A Taboo Parody.”

Eliza Jane heads up an all-star cast of stray misfits trapped in the notorious Transition House for Wayward Girls, run by the evil Mr. Hands (Tommy Pistol). When she is offered a way out of the hellish prison, thanks to a smitten benefactor (Derrick Pierce), the beautiful virgin is stopped once again by the malicious Mr. Hands.

“You're not going anywhere,” he growls before locking the orphan in his closet, dashing Anne’s hopes to finally escape Mr. Hands’ clutches. “'Of course … there is one easy way to get out of this, Anne …. ”

Written and co-directed (with Craven Moorehead) by Bree Mills, “Anne — Act One: The Orphanage” also stars Whitney Wright, Kristen Scott, Steve Holmes, Casey Calvert, Sarah Vandella, Elena Koshka, Ashley Adams, Mick Blue and Seth Gamble, with guest appearances by Vienna Black, Chloe Foster, Jane Wilde, Curious Judas, Scarlett Mae, Elle Voneva, Ember Snow and Dick Chibbles.

“There’s something tragic and beautiful about Orphan Annie, and Eliza did such an incredible job with the role,” Mills said. “Tommy Pistol is a brilliant scene stealer, and Eliza… she will steal your heart. We are so, so proud of this series and hope fans love watching it as much as we loved shooting it.”
