Studio 20 Reports Successful #Studio20Academy Event

LOS ANGELES — Studio 20 is reporting a successful completion to the first edition of #Studio20Academy.

According to Studio 20, franchises from all over Romania arrived on Thursday morning at an exclusive retreat in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains for the debut of Studio 20 Academy.

The first edition of the academy consisted of three full days of presentations, team building exercises, improvisation classes and fun, with each Studio 20 franchise being asked to name one person from their team to hold a keynote presentation on how to improve their work.

The event opened with five presentations and Q&A sessions from different studios on a topic of their choice, where subjects such as “The psychological aspect of camming” and “How should male trainers interact with cam girls” started some heated debates, and continued with a fun improvisation and acting class held by well-known Romanian actors.

Ana, one of the trainers from Studio 20 Galati, the newest in the Studio 20 franchise network, says while the acting class should have been all fun and games, it brought everyone closer together.

“The different games we played gave us all the opportunity to reveal some hidden talents,” Ana says. “I found it very educational and it opened my eyes to who my colleagues are, how they view themselves and how I should never judge someone shy just based on their shell. The shyest of our group was an amazing story teller and singer, that blew my mind.”

The second day continued the education with seminars and presentations about the help the trainers and team can offer to models so they can earn more and grow a stable, healthy career and life. After lunch, a sea of red hoodies with the Studio 20 logo on them headed to the adventure park where they got to climb up trees, dare to zip line, play team paintball and try out archery.

“I loved playing paintball. My team was based on people I didn’t know that much but we knew that working together is going to be the secret to the other team not ‘killing’ us with colored little paint balls,” says Studio 20’s first manager, Robert Vanderty. “I guess it’s just the same as in a studio, you never know who your team member is going to be, but you have to work together to help the model succeed.”

The day ended with a Romanian dinner and bonfire party with old and new music.

The last day brought final presentations and an award ceremony, where the top three presentations, voted on by all attendees, won cash prizes and trophies for their work and dedication, including the first prize of $2,500; the second at $1,500 and third at $1,000, to spend as they please.

“When Studio 20 started almost six years ago, all of this was a nice dream,” Studio 20 CEO Mugur Frunzetti says. “The concept of a cam studio franchise was not on the market, let alone an academy of excellence.”

Frunzetti is grateful for the support of the people that have been with Studio 20 from the start and says more people are coming to trust both the brand and its way of doing business.

“Studio 20 Academy comes as a ‘Thank you’ to all of those who believed and worked for it to be possible. A team that has fun, travels, learns together will be stronger and will always succeed together,” Frunzetti explains. “This first edition had only studios from Romania, but as Studio 20 is international, having two studios in Colombia, one in the U.S. and one in Hungary, with prospects for another three E.U. countries wanting to join us. I’m hoping the next edition will be much bigger and include all our teams.”
