Fetish Con Releases 2018 Seminar, Lecture and Workshop Schedule

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Fetish Con has announced its workshop and seminar schedule for this year’s fetish industry and community tradeshow Aug. 9-12.

“Following last year’s feedback to expand our Kinky Classes, we have put together a learning track with a diverse selection of topics geared towards the beginner, as well as the more experienced, within the fetish and alternative lifestyles,” Fetish Con Event Promoter Genesis Lynn said. “With everything from legal seminars to adult business workshops and lifestyle classes, there’s truly something for everyone. We’re looking forward to presenting this year’s exciting class schedule!”

Sponsored by Clips4Sale.com, Fetish Con is described as "the largest networking event for the fetish industry and community on the East Coast" by a company rep.

This year’s Kinky Classes curriculum, sponsored by Caliente Resorts and My Kink Club, will offer nearly 60 seminars, lectures and workshops over the four-day weekend, with a mix of business and lifestyle workshops on how to navigate being in the lifestyle, as well as practical workshops on technique. Thursday’s Kinky Classes schedule in particular, named FACTalks (which stands for Fetish — Adult —Clip Talks), is specifically geared with a specific focus on the B2B market, including content producers, models, photographers and studio owners.

“Business-to-business seminars and panels are the cornerstone of learning when it comes to the fetish and adult industry,” Lynn added. “We all learn from those who have blazed a path before us, and fought the fights which needed to be addressed, to allow our industry to thrive.

"Whether it’s a landmark legal decision, a new law that affects the industry, important social issues such as mental health or new technologies and advances in websites, sharing ideas and business strategies which have been successful to building a recognized fetish or adult brand means we all can grow and succeed as a community. We all have something to share with and learn from our industry peers, and through our new FACTalks series, we hope to add to that discussion for a better future for all industry members.”

With Kinky Classes, private Twisted Dungeon play space, live fetish shows, after dark parties and the Pervy Pool Party "that never stops," Fetish Con has grown to become "an internationally recognized and hugely anticipated event within the fetish industry and community."

According to a company rep, "Blowing the doors off the party scene in Florida every year since 2004, when the event moved to Tampa Bay from New York, the event brings in thousands of fetish performers, production companies and kinksters together for an unforgettable four-day weekend."
