Screaming O Partners With USAC Student Wellness Commission for Sextravaganza 2018

LOS ANGELES — UCLA’s USAC Student Wellness Commission invited Screaming O to once again take part in Sextravaganza, an all-night event dedicated to sex-positivity as part of the university’s annual Sex Week.

Students waited in lines throughout the evening to receive free, personalized Screaming O Sex Pro ID Cards along with some beginner vibrating rings and finger vibes.

Screaming O is a leading adult product designer, which earned the 2017 XBIZ Progressive Pleasure Products Company of the Year award.

Each year, UCLA’s residential life team opens this unique sexual health, wellness, and awareness program to the school’s 12,000 on-campus residents, introducing students to resources, topics and activities related to healthy sexuality and relationships.

It has become a weeklong series of workshops, parties, meetups, and activities designed to give attendees a safe space to learn, explore and get even more excited about sex.

At the Screaming O booth, students filled out a quick survey regarding any purchasing experience with sex toys while also learning about simple, introductory toys from Screaming O staff.

“We like to joke that our products are ‘gateway toys’ for first-timers and beginners because they are as easy to use as they are affordable to buy,” Screaming O Marketing Manager Gideon Perez. “Participating in Sextravaganza was a valuable opportunity not only to introduce our brand to the next generation, but also to gain a clearer perspective on the sex toy shopping habits of college students. It’s always an honor to be involved in such an important sex-positive event.”

Sextravaganza provides students with an inclusive and unbiased safe space to learn and reflect upon their own sexuality, while encouraging conversations about important — and sometimes difficult — sexual health issues impacting ourselves and our society.
